"Due to a serious illness in the band's immediate family, The Civil Wars' tour dates from March 26th in Koln through April 4th in Istanbul are postponed. Rescheduled dates and additional info will be announced next week. We are extremely sorry for this inconvenience."

Hope better news soon, family first.

First of all, please allow us to thank all of you for your outpouring of support after the recent postponement of our European tour dates. You continue to surprise and amaze us, and we both are so grateful to have such wonderful fans and friends.

We've rescheduled the postponed tour dates for later in 2012, and also added dates in Munich and Oslo. Tickets will go on sale soon. Full details below:

Just received that...

We sincerely apologize for the canceling of all of our tour dates. It is something we deeply regret. However, due to internal discord and irreconcilable differences of ambition we are unable to continue as a touring entity at this time. We thank each and every one of you for your amazing love & support. Our sincere hope is to have new music for you in 2013.
